A GIRL and A GUN - A Girl and a Gun is a hip and edgy piece of LA pulp. Thematically, the story is a cross between
Mulholland Dr. and Rebel Without a Cause -- and it can be seen as a metaphor for the
industry, with Los Angeles serving as Paradise Lost.

Ian, a lowly runner for a high-powered Los Angeles "businessman", meets Anna, an aspiring actress
from Kansas who has just been robbed of her life's savings. Seizing the opportunity, Ian poses as a
Hollywood !lm producer in order to gain Anna's trust and recover the money. However, his scam
proves increasingly di"cult, especially as he starts to fall for Anna. Trapped in his own web of lies, Ian
starts to question everything… as he learns that Anna too may not be what she seems.
