DETROIT UNLEADED - Detroit Unleaded is an independent feature film project currently in development from Detroit-based filmmaker Rola Nashef. A comedic drama about an Arab-owned gas station in a predominantly African American neighborhood on Detroit's East Side. The film explores race, economics, friendship and love through the station-a place where widely diverse customers and gas station workers come in and out of each other's lives.

The feature-length project was inspired by the 20-minute short film released in 2007. Upon it's premier, it garnered international recognition as an official selection to 23 film festivals, winning three awards, including "Best Short Film" and received positive reviews from diverse audiences and critics alike.
